Wordpress give you the tool to define a title and a slug seperatly from each other. Speaking URLs are very important if you want to rank high in the search engines like Google. The SEO Slugs Windows Live Writer Plugin from Imtech helps you to create a slug from any phrase within you blog post by one click.
- Select a text
- Hit the SEO Slug plugin from the insert panle on the right side
- Click on OK
- Now hit F2 and press CTRL+V in the Slug field
Normaly the slugs of my post and the titles are the same but in some special cases the seo slug plugin can be very usefull:[rate:4/5]

I installed your WLW SEO Slugs Plugin, but found that it was adding a “p” to the beginning and end of each slug created. Any idea why that would happen?

This is weird! I tried serveral times on different machines and everythings worked fine. Try to conntact the author of the plugin maybe he can help you. http://imtech.codeplex.com/WorkItem/List.aspx
