My site has a custom syntax highlighter which is called like this: <code>[code lang="xml"]Insert highlighted code here[/code]</code> a small annoyance is that Live Writer does not have a code feature, but a big annoyance is it removes all the formating (tabs, spaces) and makes the source of the post almost human-unreadable. As a programming blogger I'm forced to write the article in live writer, then add the code snipits later through wordpress's console. It would be nice if Live writer retained all of the formatting we apply in source mode, including custom tags.
