Within the Windows Live Essentials the Windows Live Writer was release as the build 14.0.8050.12012 with a pretty new logo.

But didn’t get only a little restyling, it gets some new features too.

Tags

The tag field has been moved from the extra properties windows (F2) to the bottom of the window and it will load all your tags you have entered in the past.

Windows Live PhotoAlbum

After the first beta release of the Windows Live Writer, everyone was missing the Insert PhotoAlbum button shown on the first leaked screenshots. Now the button and the Windows Live Photo Album is available.

First you need a valid Windows Live ID to storage your images online. After you selected the images the plugin will create a nice Photo Collage with a link to you PhotoAlbum
