Temporary post in the Google Index
When you set up a new blog within the Windows Live Writer for the first time, the WLW ask you if you want to detect the theme. For the theme detection, the Windows Live Writer creates a temporary post with the Title “Temporary Post Used For Theme Detection (ID-ID-..). Normally after the theme detection the test post will be deleted automatically, but it seems it isn’t happening every time as a Google search shows.
Now what can you do to avoid Google from indexing this page? Simple check your blog and delete this pages. An easy way to find them is to use the search operator:
site:domain.tld "Temporary Post Used For Theme Detection ("
PS:You don’t have to worry about these temporary posts they don’t harm you or your blog they just look ugly.
