Incompatible: InsertVideo Plugin and Live Writer Wave 3

Scott has confirmed on his blog that the InsertVideo plugin doesn’t work hand in hand with Live Writer Wave 3. According to his statement, the Live Writer team had changed something in the API the plugin uses, so in result you’ll get the following error message.

He hopes that the Live Writer team will resolve the bug in the upcoming release.

WordPress 2.3.1 supports Live Writer Tagging-System

The topical version 2.3.1 of WordPress support the tagging-system of Live Writer.

After you have written an article open the footer-menu (“Categories” etc)
You can type in your tags below the headline “Keywords”
A View into the control panel of WordPress will show you that WordPress accept the keywords you have typed in into the Live Writer menu

Windows Live Writer allows you, to ping services like weblogs.com or Technorati after you’ve published an article on your weblog. So, theses services always get your latest news and you’ll get more visitores.

To configure the automatically Ping Service you habe to open Tools > Preferences > Ping Servers. Type in the Ping Servers you want to ping an confirm your configuration.
